MAGICAL BRIDGE FOUNDATION
Through partnerships with cities, schools, foundations, community groups, and corporations, the Magical Bridge Foundation advances a vision of innovation and true inclusion far beyond the playground. Through research, advocacy, media, and other outreach efforts, Magical Bridge is working to lay the foundations of a kindness and compassion that creates stronger, healthier, and more socially connected communities.
HEALTHY WEIGHT COMMITMENT FOUNDATION – TOGETHER COUNTS™
The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation (HWCF) is a not-for-profit national coalition whose mission is to help reduce obesity, especially childhood obesity, by encouraging lifestyle changes among children and their families. Playworld has been the sole playground manufacturing partner of HWCF’s Together Counts™ Program since 2010, which provides grants to schools for either constructing new playgrounds that promote physical activity or to upgrade food services to encourage healthy eating.
HGACBUY
HGACBuy is a governmental procurement program that helps local government units, from municipal agencies to volunteer fire departments, acquire competitively priced goods and services. LET KIDS PLAY
Founded in 2007 by Mara Kaplan, Let Kids Play is a consulting group that works to ensure that all children have access to play regardless of age or ability. Our partnership enables us to optimize our equipment for children with disabilities. We also work with Mara to train all stakeholders on inclusive playground design.
NATIONAL PURCHASING PARTNERS GOVERNMENT DIVISION (NPPGOV)
NPPGov services public and non-profit markets as a cooperative purchasing organization, providing access to contracts created through an RFP process conducted by a lead public agency.
US PLAY COALITION
The US Play Coalition is a partnership to promote the value of play throughout life, with the vision of play becoming a valued and integral part of the lives of people of all ages and abilities. Each year, they host the Value of Play Conference at Clemson University in South Carolina to bring together leaders and advocates from various disciplines to discuss play research and practices. Playworld is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the Value of Play Conference every year, where we educate others about our research-based practices and processes to help save play.
